I used the Magic Eraser on my daughter's 1998 Bitty. I used it everywhere except on her hair. She has very little face color anyway.

It worked beautifully and my daughter was thrilled that her matte finish seemed to be restored.

I do know that the Bitty heads with dark hair scratch very easily.
